How do you know if there's an "entity" in your home or if your skin is going through a phase?

I've lived in this house for almost a year now and around Christmas is when I noticed things, like an old Oak door to my room would shake and when i would go look no one would be there, and more recently my surround sound would come on, and i've tried every remote to see if that was it. I've been recently getting scratches on my face also, but I don't feel them. If you have any answers about these scratches please let me know. I'm going out of my mind with worry. Please i would appreciate anything you have to say except for negative comments. Thank you
