What does all of this drama mean? Long, but please! And did I deserve it?

There's this girl who I rejected because I was under a lot of stress and just walked out on her while she was trying to ask me out. A few months later I ran into her and started talking to her. She seemed happy to see me at first then started to avoid eye contact usually looking down. Then we lost contact again. Then I ran into her at the college we both go to now, saw her and talked. It was great, but as I started to walk off, she looked miserable. I sent her a myspace friend invite, which then she told me to never talk to her again or else. I told her sorry if I ever offended her, but she says she doesn't like me. We lost touch again, but I would see her looking at me a lot when I walk near by. I decided to apologize about the rejection (which by now took place 1 year and 5 months ago). She told it was too complicated to ever be friends then told me to get a gf and it would make it a lot easier for each other. She then asked about these mean messages that were sent to her, and she told me she knew it had to be me or one of my friends that was a total ***. I told her I knew about those messages (I caught him sending ****). Before she gave me the chance to explain, she stormed off pissed. I chased after her and apologized about the rejection, which she then stormed off to the bathroom breathing heavily. A teacher asked her what was wrong, and when she talked to me, told me there was a girl hurt inside saying I wasn't leaving her alone. She then talked to the girl saying if she wanted to get even. A few hours later, I was called into the security office, saying that a teacher walking with a student came in, and that the student said I was being a real a** and then after the student left, the teacher said I threatened her life. I was then let go after nothing was proven. Did I deserve all of this, and how can I make it better?
