How to get a bad spiritual energy out of a house?

My best friend has been having some bad energies that she thinks her mom is conjuring up. She came from Dominican Replica when she was around 10 and her mom used to do a lot of bad things and call upon bad entities. Now she see's things in her house 8 years later In her US home. Her mom is starting to get the old habits back in place and my friend fears it may follow her. Is there any way to either get rid of or stop the entity from following her when she moves out in a few weeks.
