Trivia about jose rizal?

On Sept. 21, 1892, Jose Rizal won second prize of the government owned Manila lottery, under ticket no. 9736 for P20,000. But the ticket was actually owned by Capt. Carneciro of mail boat "Butuan" plying Manila to Dipologm and was shared by Francisco Equilar and him. Rizal's share was P6,200. He gave P2,000 to his father, P200 to Jose Basa, a friend in Hong Kong, and the rest was used to purchase an agricultural land on the coast of Talisay, a town near Daipan.
