Do you think what Rizal had fought for was a total waste of his time?

Look at the situation of the Philippines. It's still the same since the day that he died. So many corrupt politicians. Billionaires are not native Filipinos. The economy are being driven by "naturalized" Filipinos and many of them don't even pay the right taxes to the govt. Education is not a right but a privilege. The justice system favors those who have the money and power. The religion is being used to gain wealth and resources especially in the time of the elections. The poor gets poorer. The rich gets richer. So what's the difference? Oh the difference now is we have the Facebook and Twitter.
